I continue to share Covid things because nothing has changed, including the fantasy that it’s over. This research was for healthy people under 40, not people in aged care homes. Covid is a vascular disease, not a lung disease. It can attack your veins and arteries, anywhere, long after you’ve ‘recovered’ from even a mild infection. It’s why the number of deaths from strokes and heart attacks has skyrocketed, even in young people. And the effect gets worse over time, not better, it seems. The reason people won’t take this seriously is because humans act socially, not scientifically or even politically. They will do what they see everybody else doing. Violating that social behaviour is worse than death to them, to be the ‘odd one out’. Politicians know this, that if they stopped mandating things like masks, social conformity would quickly get rid of them. A mandate is a social tool, to give permission to go against the crowd. Not a political tool.
