This was a superb story, if you’re interested in drought and drought relief, it should be compulsory viewing. Lots of very smart farmers out there, doing incredibly smart things, and using very different ideas about the Australian climate and climate change. Some even quite unhappy at the attention being given to what they see as poor farming in the current drought relief publicity, and even refusing to use the word ‘drought’, seeing it as lazy thinking. Also some unhappiness at the blaming of government, they see more change needed in farmers themselves.
