Bun or bump? There are ethical debates about women and babies - some see a woman as a 'container' for a baby (bun), others see the baby as a part of the woman herself (bump). Echoes of The Handmaid's Tale, the idea that women are just containers for babies. Like a string bag to put your oranges in. The baby seems obviously a part of the woman's body, in a way it can't be for men, it's partly their flesh and blood. Also interesting that some of the strongest believers in the 'container' view seem to stop caring the second the child is born - they don't fight for better childcare or education, children are only a hot topic for them while they're part of the women carrying them to birth. Which suggests that it's not really about children, for them, it's about women, and control over them.
