The piece Waleed Aly wrote about justice 6 years ago is still so important. Do people notice the increasing, even violent righteousness that is dominating how we respond to things now? The Tesla attacks are a great recent example. This is the world of social media, now taking over everyday life as well. "We're forgetting how to hold our anger in tension with anything else". Beautifully said. 'Outrage culture', are we tired of nothing but outrage, about everything? Come work at a Council, feel the searing heat of this outrage, every day. The incoherent, righteous rage. A pandemic of righteousness, about everything.
