The pandemic made many people rediscover the most important place on Earth again. Their own home. For many that will lead to lasting change, society is only just beginning to figure this out. The obsession to be always going somewhere, to be always doing something, is a disease. People afraid to stop because then they may have to meet themselves. All this hypermobility and hyperactivity is classic avoidance behaviour. People sometimes ask ‘what are you DOING on the weekend’? I usually say ‘nothing, I spend all week doing things.’
