A photographer from regional Victoria. Her anger is at a public health measure, designed to save thousands of lives. That isn’t even mentioned. Her collapse in income is her only focus. No doubt that’s extremely stressful for her. But the wider point here is, you can see why this pandemic happened, and why it won’t end. Our way of life is incompatible with our collective wellbeing. When you turn your society into an Economy, even killing millions of people is casually accepted, so long as incomes carry on.
