Cars need to be reined in, without screwing the poor in the process, who need them the most. Cars are filthy (because the internal combustion engine is shit technology), they take over every space they're allowed into, and they're noisy. In your own town or city today, stand still for a moment and just listen. Imagine that same place without car or other vehicle noise. It would seriously change the world, it's amazing we ever got used to the bloody racket vehicles make, it's a disgrace. Barcelona, the same place fighting back against tourism, has an idea.
