Mass unemployment at the moment. But the country is still running fine, the lights and power are on, there's food in the shops etc. It turns out millions of people around the world are in jobs that are actually unnecessary? What's the 'economic' emergency here? They need an income, pay them that. Their jobs were either really hobbies, or semi-slavery casual things making rubber ducks, to make rubber duck billionaires rich.
