Novels are an example I think of how art is not 'subjective', but so important to actually understanding the world. Including people. Artists and art help us to understand the world in the widest and most profound way, but we too often think that's science. Also I love how this article shows how each person is a constantly changing work in progress. We should approach each other keeping that in mind I reckon, every person is on their own journey and trying as hard as you are to figure it all out.
