The feed-in tariff for solar is how much you get paid for exporting to the grid. In Victoria the proposed minimum rate retailers have to pay owners is now only 0.04 cents per kWh i.e. effectively nothing. Down from over 10 cents per kWh in 2020-21. In NSW you can still get 8-10c, though 5c is more common. This isn't as bad as many think. Far and away the most money you make from solar is in replacing energy you use yourself, which costs over 30c/kWh. And shifting your heavier usage then to daytime wherever you can. And buy a battery, to store during the day and use at night. You're still miles ahead. Why has this happened? Because solar and wind have been so successful, electricity is now not only free during the day (wholesale) in most places, they will actually pay you to take it. So there's no way distributors want to buy even more off you.
