The Los Angeles Times calls what’s happening ‘troubling’, while people here cheer on the destruction. The Times notes this is an American disease. I’ve worked for organisations with toxic senior leadership. It never once occurred to me or any other good people in those organisations to destroy the organisation, to get rid of the leadership. Social media is spreading this insanity globally. The American disease of targeting institutions, for problems caused by individuals.
