The solution to most of society’s problems is to tell engineers what the problems are, and then to get out of their way. If you don’t believe that, I encourage you to read history much more carefully. How’s an 8 million km car battery strike you? It seems we need to over-engineer everything to ridiculous levels to cut through the thick forest of entrenched stupidity.
