The BYD Shark is finally arriving. Shots fired! A ute you can use as full-electric for 100km of range i.e. double what you need for most peoples’ every day driving. And then the petrol engine will act as a generator for longer trips, using a lot less petrol than a full-petrol ute, because the electric motors it drives are more than 4 times more efficient and powerful. A full-electric Shark will come later too.
