There's nothing quite as disgusting as Boris' latest spin. 'Levelling up'. The idea being, rather than address rampant, outrageous inequality, with the top 1% of society wallowing in all of a country's wealth, he will instead 'level up' everybody, to be billionaires. It's nothing but the Amercian Dream bullshit, where if you're poor it's your fault for not being clever enough, translated across to the UK. The same push is happening here. And these governments get more and more popular, the people who vote for them getting more screwed every single day. Really profoundly dangerous and stupid times we live in.
