Took the No campaign all of a day to turn really nasty in defeat. Abortion today. Bun or bump? Is a woman just a container for a baby? Or is that baby also part of her? For Cory and his friends a woman is like an incubator. The abortion debate has always been about power over and control of women, not a concern for children. Their concerns for the child cease at birth too, where they happily vote to cut funding to child care and schools and health. Thoroughly nasty people, these ultra-conservatives, they’ve been flushed out of hiding and we’re seeing them in full view.
