Australian cricketers today are multi-millionaires. We’d have been better off sending the local under-8s to India this week. The ground was also almost empty, which is staggering for India. The whole sport now driven by IPL dollars, which is making the players rich, destroying the public support for anything except bash-cricket, and swamping us in far too many pointless and boring games.
