The longer term chronic impacts of Covid are well underway. We can’t positive think our way out of them, or define them away. The definition of a pandemic is based on number of infections, not severe disease or hospitalisations or deaths, as politicians say. Until we stop the tsunami of infections, we’ll never leave the pandemic. And societies can’t survive living in a pandemic, no matter how much they may be ‘’over it’. Like reality gives a shit about how we feel.
