Every single slogan below is a lie. This industry creates them to cast doubt, flooding social media with them, to create resistance to change. Why so much of my social media is about countering this nonsense. Renewables don’t work when the sun doesn’t shine and the wind doesn’t blow. Affordable, dispatchable power. Gas is a vital transition fuel. EVs won’t tow your boat. EVs have nowhere to charge. The minerals in batteries are toxic. Windmill blades are an environmental disaster. Batteries will mean a lot more mining and will destroy the environment. Solar panels can’t be recycled and are filling up landfill. EV sales are plummeting. Nuclear energy is the answer. Only the rich can afford solar and an EV. EVs catch fire all the time. Building EVs creates more pollution than building ICEs. Windmills kill whales. Renewables can’t create baseload electricity. Baseload electricity means the minimum amount we need to produce every day for use.
