When you fly somewhere, do you and all the other passengers vote for what the pilot should be doing at each stage of the flight? No? So why do we elect leaders of complex societies, who have a much more complicated job than a pilot? Elections are destroying democracy. A symptom of how much this is true is the number of people who will swear elections actually ARE democracy.
