My two cents again on why the world seems crazy. People seem ‘divided’ because we’re mistaking a battle of ideas (what’s really happening) for a battle between people. Like individuals, societies don’t like unresolved ideas, it makes them profoundly uncomfortable. But we’re not seeing it because we’re looking at the people who ‘hold’ ideas, rather than the ideas themselves.
