Brilliant story about how power is shifting away from governance and senior management of corporations towards shareholders, usually superannuation funds (i.e. you and me). The excesses of the corporate world have been a disgrace for many years. One of the last tough nuts to crack here will be universities, whose governance and senior management layers are obscenely incompetent and greedy. Disgusting what's happening in universities, some of it is being aired but it's not clear where the pressure will come from to make real change. Not government, who put that useless, venal dead wood there in the first place.
