The BYD hybrid ute will be up against the Ford Ranger hybrid, from this year. It'll be interesting to see the pricing on both. My guess is Australia is too stupid yet to realise a hybrid ute has more grunt than a petrol or diesel ute, and uses about half the fuel, but let's see. I think BYD is also doing a full-electric version for 2025.
