There is no ‘pushback’ against AI. Just as there is no pushback against wind turbines, or EVs. These are just viral trends on idiot social media. I would welcome pushback against social media, but it turns us into zombies because it targets our deepest desires and behaviours. Millions suddenly think they’re against things they know nothing about, because that’s what’s trending. They will swear it’s all their own idea. It’s a cultural poker machine. And literally it’s that, they used the same psychology and technology they use in poker machines, to create it.
