The story of our increased life expectancy in modern times that isn't told as often. Nearly all of it is stopping children dying. If you got to adulthood in the past, you lived to almost the same old age as we do today. We'rte not living that much longer than we ever have, we've just stopped children dying. Particularly worth noting in a time when we're reversed the public health process that brought this about, by now deliberately infecting all of our children, repeatedly, with a pandemic virus.
