When politicians refuse to act on emergencies like climate change and Covid, the risk doesn’t go away. It gets privatised, individuals have to deal with it themselves. Insurance is the way they try to do it, insurance is a risk management tool. It’s destroying the insurance industry. The same gutless, weak politicians who won’t act against the risks then lead the public criticism of insurers.
