Petrolheads think they’re being clever when they call EVs ‘appliances’. None of them can explain what that even means. On all the measures of car performance they themselves have masturbated over for years, EVs wipe the floor with combustion vehicles. Every single one. They’re left trying to explain why the noise of the car is somehow significant, when it’s really just the car farting and the sound of 70% of their petrol dollar going straight out the exhaust and radiator unused. The noise petrol and diesel cars make has been reduced to a bare minimum over years anyway, because nobody likes the noise of traffic, and it wastes so much energy. The only noisy cars left on the road are the tiny minority owned by petrolheads, a marginal group who found identity in noisy cars as teenagers and don’t want to give it up. Drive a combustion car and an EV and you’ll never want to go back to combustion. They’re gutless, noisy, need never-ending maintenance and cost a fortune to run.
