Pictures tell stories. What the pandemic showed so clearly was who the really essential workers are in our socieities. Nurses, teachers, supermarket staff, sewer and water workers etc. Leading politicians are deliberately ignoring those lessons, and going straight back to hard hats and high-vis, on trophy projects for cashed-up mates and political donors. It’s time to vote for what’s good for ordinary Australians, not for these pirates who raid our public treasuries for their cashed-up buddies.
