Don't you love how oil companies keep fuel prices high through the school holidays and on public holidays? And look at diesel, often people buy those to use less fuel, but the savings are easily wiped out by higher diesel prices. Are we sick of being screwed by Texans and Arabs yet? Most of that money you pay at the bowser goes offshore, over $50 billion per year. This is why we bought hybrids in the transition to full EVs. Currently saving over $5000 per year in fuel costs alone. Over the lifetime of the car, that will actually pay for the car. And electricity? Same price 365 days of the year.
