I struggle with the positivity/negativity people. Who look on at problems, and see them only as people being ‘negative’. No, they’re problems, not perceptions. I struggle even more with their retreat to the ‘positivity’ of fun and happy things, as if that fixes the problems. It’s them dumping them on somebody else to solve, usually politicians, who they then have the complete gall to despise. Happiness, if you’re a grown up, is fixing the world’s problems, not running away from them.
