Margaret Thatcher is like a god to today’s conservatives, one of the founders of modern conservatism. You can see here from her speech almost 40 years ago how science dominated the discussion then on climate change, with her championing the science. And then the fossil fuel companies intervened, with big money, paying modern conservative politicans to spout anti-climate action bullshit every day.
