The people and companies who sat on their hands and did nothing for 30 years against this end-of-civilisation scale threat will now increasingly try to alarm us all about how impossible it is to fix things in the small amount of time left. It's only a small amount of time because they did nothing for 30 years. Let them suffer. For example, if there isn't enough charging infrastructure for longer trips, it's because we spent 30 years not building any. Most car trips are short trips anyway, it's a storm in a tea cup by the fewer than 5% of motorists who do long trips regularly. Everything worth doing is hard, quit whining and just do it. This is humanity's greatest ever emergency, let's stop doing pretty much everything else and just focus on it.
