Stupid is winning. Droughts and flooding rains. Strayans say that with pride, like they’re tough and isn’t this country a bitch? Actually they’re the same stupidity - we have ‘floods’ because we build on flood plains, where we should be growing our food. And we grow our food in semi-desert, and call it ‘drought’. Our dams and levees (you’ll find them in many if not most towns)) protecting our houses make the floods worse. It’s multiple layers of stupid.
