The top TV programs of the past 15 years. Nearly all sport, or if not sport then reality TV competitions. I have a theory that sport or competitions are so popular, because we really do love a contest, a duel, a stoush. We pretend we like peace and love and understanding, but our real passion is competition. And I think that's healthy. I'm one of the few people who watches politics and loves that it's a fight. Politics without a fight isn't politics. The idiots of the world, like Trump, are winning, because the people who should be opposing him are preaching peace, love and understanding, rather than fighting him.
