Appeared in my feed from 10 years ago. Bittersweet memories of CSU again, from the time when leadership had disappeared and people sat in meetings like these all day, trying to figure out what the organisation should be doing. Producing long lists of banalities that provided no direction, transcribed into documents that more meetings then finessed, which nobody ever read or used. Part of the fantasy that organisations (or even societies) emerge from the ‘bottom up’.
