The push is on in Australia to shift a lot more house building into factories, in pre-fabricated and modular building. I’ve posted before about why I think this is a great idea - much better economies of scale, much better quality control. Here’s another benefit. By far the greatest source of tyre punctures is nails and screws falling from unsecured loads on tradie utes, trucks carrying building waste and from building sites that haven’t been cleaned up properly.
