Policing, teaching, nursing, doctoring, aged care, local government. Etc. All the essential services are in a state of collapse. Not only is it impossible to now do these jobs, the people who stick with them are under assault daily from a never-ending torrent of ignorant abuse. Much of that abuse is mobilised through social media. Notice how many of these jobs now have signs and phone messages about aggressive and violent behaviour towards staff. I was on the phone to Services Australia yesterday and heard it there too.
