I’ve seen several Bathurst residents suggest the solution to their water problems is to run a pipeline to Lithgow. This will be the sort of non-thinking that the imminent water crisis will be full of. What’s the possible outcome of a town of 50,000+ piping water from a town of 15,000? There’s only one outcome - big town drains small town dry, both towns out of water. Never mind that it would take a long time and a shed load of money to build any pipeline.
