The mining industry is one of the fastest to adopt EV technology. This truck is entirely electric, battery-powered. It will fast-charge in only 30 minutes, and carry nearly 250 tonnes. It will use its massive weight to generate electricty in use as well. Mining trucks have been hybrids (diesel-electric) already for years, because it saves the industry massive amounts of fuel. They’re also more powerful.
