Maybe the world has run out of Covid tests because everybody is getting infected? Maybe we need to stop people getting infected with Covid? Maybe (try this one on for size) to end a pandemic, you actually have to stop people getting the fucking virus. People will still argue with you every day, that the way to stop Covid, is to let people get Covid. I’ll say that again - they think the way to stop Covid, is to let people catch Covid. Wtf is wrong with us. Today National Cabinet will meet to massage definitions so that testing queues will be shorter, so that they look less incompetent. It will do nothing except make the pandemic worse.
