For years we've had to endure zealots tell us society isn't real, only individuals are real. Free market, libertarian hocus pocus. Then suddenly, they get their wish in lockdown, because everybody is just an individual again! And what happens? Their precious 'economy' evaporates. Now they're begging to 'open up' things again. The 'economy' IS society, or just a small subset of it. Reality is the ultimate test of bullshit ideas.
