Australia is swimming in solar-generated energy from our own rooftops. More than twice what any other country produces, per person. The big jump in electricity prices is caused by the previous government not building any of the infrastructure to use that energy, which is therefore just sitting there unable to be distributed. The same people who now say we need more coal plants and even nuclear plants, as if supply is the problem. We’re swimming in energy. Distribution and storage is the problem, which they did nothing about.
