Over 3,300 people died because of Covid in the first 4 months of this year, in Australia. That rate of death is still climbing, and is projected to be even higher in the next quarter. Thousands upon thousands of deaths. None of which would happen if we all stopped transmitting the virus to one another, in our social and work activity. Your ‘mild’ infection passes on to others, in exponential chains of transmission that end up in the bodies of those who die. You’re part of the highway that delivers Covid to them. And then the virus lives inside you anyway, and gets to work destroying your immune system. So the infection was never mild anyway.
