A few times I’ve posted here that I think the apparent divisions of our time have nothing to do with Left versus Right. Or even politics. It’s about Church versus State. It never went away. Populism is our politics now. It destroys institutions. Secular institutions. One side is winning this one, and almost completely without being noticed.
