Thoughts on travel #2 for today. The cost, in resources. Nearly 135 thousand flights, per DAY. We burn about 400 BILLION litres of jet fuel, every year, to satisfy our travel lust. If you fly to Europe from Australia, for example, you and every other passenger on that plane burn more than 1 TONNE of fuel EACH, each way. Pardon me again for spitting in the collective soup, but why are we doing this? For ‘experiences’? You don’t need to travel anywhere, to have experiences. This is literally insane, and why I persist with the topic.
