The thing about travel culture is, nobody ever leaves home. We’re travelling inside social media, the trip is just material for socials feeds. People go to see what other people go to see i.e. imitation. And they compete with each other for the most unusual or least travelled location i.e rivalry. Which produces rage. As Western Australia is finding out. As $150,000 caravan after $150,000 caravan towed by wankpanzer rolls into town. (The rivalry is all about the gear too.) They bring their homes with them.
