Last year this same virus, EBV, was found to be the cause of multiple sclerosis. Now it’s thought to cause lupus too. We give it a cutesy name, the ‘kissing’ virus i.e. glandular fever, to normalise everybody catching it. Just as we call Covid idiot names like ‘the spicy cough’, to normalise mass infection. Viruses don’t go viral, usually a bit of sunshine and lack of water kills them. Humans are viral, their imitative ‘viral’ behaviour is what spreads diseases.
