In August, 100 notable ‘creatives’ (writers, musicians etc.) boarded a ship in the Arctic circle, for a 15-day cruising adventure through the Arctic waters. Over 50% of them contracted Covid, on the trip. Some are now bedridden with Long Covid, taking a cocktail of medicines to stay alive and barely functional. When people believe Covid is over, they mean it in the way that Milli Vanilli is over. No longer trending. That’s what adult life now is, fashions and fads, battles for our attention.
