This again is gig culture. Teen culture. There’s a disaster, and our only thought to what could be done is to hold a concert. There is literally not one other suggestion on the table. The old Woodstock model, still being reproduced today. Gig culture is not something ‘boomers’ did, they were just the first cohort through it. It’s the extension of high school culture to all adult life. Separating schooling from adult life did that. A cultural, social shift.
