Another view of the Model Y 6-seater, about to be released in Oz. Seriously considering getting this, to replace our remnant combustion engine in the household, in the Kluger hybrid. The petrol price volatility with the Iranian war only makes it a sweeter swap. The Model Y is Australia’s Car of the Year, because it’s brilliantly engineered in just about every way, people who buy them almost universally adore them. It’s a revolution in car engineering. It has hundreds of litres more interior space than a Prado or Landcruiser, for example. Many won’t even go there, because of lives bogged down in the need to conform with trending memes, like ‘I can’t support Elon’, ‘EVs have no range and catch fire’, blah blah blah. Instead they’ll go out and buy a Tonka Truck ute, because that’s what everybody else drives, and you wouldn’t want to not be like everybody else, hey. Trapped in Year 9 forever.
