Why battery software is as important as battery hardware. The home battery did this while we all slept last night, monitoring the weather and charging the battery to capacity from the grid, in case the severe winds forecast cause blackouts. If any blackouts lasted all day, it won’t matter, as the battery will re-charge from the solar when the sun is up.
